Hourly Rate: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience

Scope of work/responsibilities:

We are seeking a Project Manager to develop processes and procedures for
holistic systems and infrastructure proactive performance management and
systems problem management for a number of IS business projects. You will
develop strategy and produce project management plans (scope, risk, quality,
cost, change management, communications, procurement, work breakdown
structure, and schedule); execute project(s) in accordance with PMO
guidelines; report to the Project Steering Committee on project status,
presentation of issues, risks, scope changes, budget changes; ensure that
business process changes are implemented; and obtain buy-in/support from
project team members and future users. Ultimately, you will develop
strategies to ensure the organization can gain the benefits of the project
as outlined in the project charter and business case (i.e. ensure ROI).

Required skills/qualifications:

To be considered, candidates must have 5+ years of experience managing
projects of increasing complexity, demonstrating the ability to successfully
drive completion of business and technology deliverables on schedule and
within budget. Candidates will be knowledgeable about and have a strong
understanding of processes in all areas of IT, including organizational
change management and industry best practices. PMP or equivalent
certification and an understanding of ITIL framework are preferred.
Individual must have excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership
skills as well as the ability to build consensus/buy in and provide
effective knowledge transfer/mentoring.
